Security System Leader Cryptography Research Leads Five Speaking Sessions at RSA® Conference 2006
SAN JOSE, Calif. (RSA Conference) – February 13, 2006– Cryptography Research, Inc. (CRI), a worldwide leader in security systems, today announced company executives will lead five presentations throughout the week at the 15th Annual RSA Conference at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
Paul Kocher, world-renowned cryptographer and president and chief-scientist of Cryptography Research will participate in a keynote panel in the main auditorium on “The Controversial Cure-All: National Identification Systems” in which he will examine the security threats and countermeasures for national identification cards. Based on research for leading manufacturers, Kocher will also present “Security Engineering for Consumer Devices” in which he will address the complex failures that plague general purpose computers.
Vice president of technology Benjamin Jun will share how to build clone-resistant and clone-rejecting systems by using tamper resistant design, system updates, key management and response mechanisms in “Attack of the Clones: Building Clone-Resistant Products.” He will also address the extended reach and scope of sensitive data through the proliferation of smart phones, PDAs, “Blackberry” type devices and pagers in “Mobile Devices and the Secure Intranet.”
Senior security engineer Nate Lawson will leverage his extensive experience in developing open source platforms to lead a Birds-of-a-Feather-Session entitled “Open Source Security Tools”.
