Cryptography Research ECC Power analysis workshop

Cryptography Research will host a 2 1/2 day workshop examining power analysis attacks on devices performing Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). The workshop will take place on 11th-12th March 2008 at CRI's offices in San Francisco, with an optional 1/2 day introduction to power analysis and the DPA Workstation™ on 10th March.
The workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of power analysis techniques such as Simple Power Analysis (SPA) and Differential Power Analysis (DPA) to evaluate ECC platforms. Lessons will include an introduction and overview of state of the art ECC algorithms and implementation techniques and power analysis methodologies. Live demonstrations will use the Cryptography Research DPA Workstation™ to analyze ECC implementations. Attendees will also conduct hands-on tutorials to analyze smart cards performing common ECC algorithms.
