Gilbert Goodwill

Senior Staff Engineer

Gilbert Goodwill is a Senior Staff Engineer at Cryptography Research on the DPA team where he develops and maintains power analysis platforms for research and Cryptography Research customers.

His past experience includes embedded software, wireless solutions, computational modeling and technical training. Gilbert has architected wireless solutions for securing access both at the network protocol and application levels, and has experience with both Bluetooth and 802.11 (Wi-Fi). He has worked on computer models in diverse fields including biotechnology and meteorology. Gilbert has also previously been a software engineering instructor and conveys information in a clear and lively fashion.

Prior to joining Cryptography Research, Gilbert worked on wireless solutions as Device Software Architect at Devicescape Software, Inc., Senior Software Engineer at Airgo Networks, Inc. (acquired by Qualcomm), and Member of Technical Staff at Wind River Systems. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
