Carole Coplan is responsible for the development and execution of Cryptography Research’s licensing strategy for its Differential Power Analysis (DPA) patent portfolio. Carole has more than ten years of legal and business development experience with technology companies. Previously, Carole served as general counsel for Responsys, a leading global provider of marketing-related technology solutions, where she oversaw the company’s legal affairs, including licensing and other transactional matters, intellectual property, regulatory and corporate matters and litigation. Before that, Carole was general counsel and chief administrative officer for Epylon Corporation, a subsidiary of Accenture LLP which provides technology products and services to government entities. Carole ’s experience also includes serving as counsel for the successor to First Nationwide Financial Corporation, where she managed the litigation for the bank.
Carole earned a juris doctorate degree from San Francisco Law School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She has security and data privacy expertise and holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
