Cryptography Research is hiring talented Senior Hardware Engineers to join our world class technology team in our San Francisco office. You will work closely with security, cryptography, and software engineers to architect, design, and implement multiple verification platforms for a variety of security-related products. Cryptography experience is not required, but ability and interest in learning is essential.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Very solid understanding of ASIC verification and co-simulation process, with a proven track record of producing verification environments/toolchains, test plans, and test cases
• Entrepreneurial drive and a demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ownership of documentation on previous projects
• Experience serving as external integration contact – ideal candidates will have previous experience at a silicon IP provider
• Fluency in C and/or C++ (preferably both)
• Familiarity with Verilog at the behavioral/testbench level
• UNIX-based development experience (make, scripting, CVS, etc)
• Expertise in at least two of the following areas:
• Functional coverage
• Directed-random testing
• Scoreboard/transaction-analysis methods
• Experience with analyzing and verifying complex algorithms
• Familiarity with any of the following a plus: perl, SystemVerilog, Verilog PLI, Tcl, Python
• Knowledge or interest in some of the following areas a plus: data / software / network security, audio or video codecs, cryptography
• Experience with the entire product lifecycle from high-level architecture, system definition, product definition, design and architecture through implementation, testing and deployment
• Good spoken, written and interpersonal communication skills
