Test & Measurement: Sr Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Software development for test and measurement platform used to test the security of cryptographic ASICs. The C/C++/.NET codebase performs data capture from oscilloscopes, signal processing, statistical data analysis, and signal visualization.
• Co-ordinates product development, pushes with team to incorporate new functionality, improve modularity, add workflows, and improve performance.
• Perform release engineering of platform updates (about 4x/year). Integrate in-house and third-party software, product test hardware and software, and prepare software releases.
• Responsible for software packaging and distribution of platform software.
• Manage/improve build, regression testing, and bug tracking systems.
• Troubleshoot and trace problems across drivers, device interfaces, instrumentation, and workflow software.
• Work with developers and researchers to keep system in sync with documentation and training materials.

Required:

• Strong developer proficiency in C, C++, .NET, Visual Studio, source code management systems (Perforce)
• Expertise in build systems, tool scripting environments, regression testing environments, and software package distribution
• 5+ years of experience software development or release engineering
• Experience with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies) and embedded system test environments
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Math
• Experience with Windows/DOS platforms, Microsoft Office
• Experience with customers support for high end test systems

Preferred:

• Product release manager experience
• Experience with or willingness to learn about differential power analysis, signal processing, and cryptography
• Familiarity with embedded system development boards and basic lab bench tasks (soldering, circuit probing, etc)
• Experience with customer training and support
