Senior Software Engineer

Cryptography Research is looking for a highly talented Senior Software Engineer to join our world class technology team at our San Francisco office. You will work closely with security and cryptography engineers to design, implement and maintain software in our security products. Cryptography experience is not required, but an ability and interest in learning is essential.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Very high technical competence that includes a track record of strong coding and individual technical accomplishments.
• Outstanding C/C++ coding skills.
• Experience designing and developing major components of large software systems.
• Experience managing and updating large codebases to improve maintainability and ease addition of new features.
• Experience with the entire product lifecycle from product definition, design and architecture through implementation, testing and deployment.
• Experience in at least some of the following areas:
  • Embedded systems development.
  • .NET and/or GUI development.
  • Cryptographic algorithms, applied mathematics and/or signal processing.
• Entrepreneurial drive and a demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
